Measured length ranges from approx. 11.92mm (shortest, locked) to 17.18mm (longest).
It allows you to take close up/macro image more easier when full extended. It can focus infinity when closed of course. It is fit for the Leica M lens on the Nikon Z camera body, saving you the expense of a costly and irreversible conversion. The adapter has no lens element so it does not effect optical performance. Vignetting may occur in full frame cameras.

Switching shooting mode and focusing mode to M (manual) is recommended.
Not suitable for Nikon F film / digital SLR cameras and 1 mount mirrorless cameras.
